Sonically, RP Verb is excellent. It's incredibly easy to generate one of the best reverb sounds, bar none, I'm including Lexi outboard gear in this category. I can't say enough, another instructor pointed me towards it after I suggested that most of the plugins we have really don't have it.

RP-Verb 1.5 is the finest digital reverb I have ever used! Now with delay added, it ups the bar in what can be sonically achieved in today's DAW. I go back to the early Delta Lab and beginning Lexicon days, and have tried most outboard units and plugins since. Most of them had an unnatural quality to them, except for the few that were so expensive, they were only for the best equipped recording studios. That's all changed, thanks to Rob Papen.... I'm also an avid user of his Blue softsynth. I look forward to whatever Rob introduces in the future. The only downside, is that I want to remix everything ....:)

Greetings Rob, Just wanted to sign your guestbook and tell you about how stoked I was to find out last year you had your own company going creating "soft-synths"; you're patches have always been the BOMB, brotha! I've been doing synth music and working with medium and a couple large bands for 25 years now and you are amongst the best. And I'm sure that sentiment can be said by them on my behalf. ?I really love how natural RP-Verb sounds. The distortion feature is really something special. The controls are so intuitive that I don't even have to think about them. RP-Verb adds excitement when applied to drums or vocals; and, most of all, it has its own place in the sound field. It?s also fantastic to be able to recreate a small space that doesn?t sound like a cheap metal box but a real space. And because it is so transparent, you don't even hear the space until you take the reverb away. I love it!!!?
