The thing I like most about Blue is that changes to any presets (or just fiddling with controls when starting from scratch) gives such musical results. I also tried NI FM8 and most of the time changes resulted in boring (if any) results. Somehow, the design and layout of Blue is so thoughtful that it can be truly called an instrument. I bought it after I tried the demo. Great product!

The Blue Synth is totally out of this word. Coming from a hardware background I was very skeptical of softsynths but the VST synths from Rob Papen are just mind-blowing I can\'t seem to turn them off and go for my 3,000USD hardware synth.

Hi, I\'m the customer of your brand. Like owner of Albino and Blue I\'ve informed by KVR, that Blue\'s new version is issued these days. Once in my \"private space\", i see that I have the possibility to download only the 1.8.5 beta version, not the last finalized version. I\'m surprised, why we - Rob Papen customers - can\'t download the last version first... I\'m a little bit deceived... MiroslavH Prague

Blue is a superb soft synth with high quality sounds like on other great RP synths like Albino. There is a warmth to the sounds and a usability that means Blue is always featured on my solo recordings and my projects like Code indigo and Callisto. Sounds always seem to just \"sit in the mix\". Particularly impressive on Blue is the sequencing and the flexibility and ease of use, due to the great user interface. IMO one of the top 5 soft synths available on the market today.

I now own all 3 of the Papen Synths, but this one really knocks my socks off. The varitey of the sounds is huge, and it sounds so fresh and crisp. Buy it now ! :-)

The sound of this beast is truly stunning. Especially with the new features of the 1.7 update it is one of the deepest vstsynths i know. the possibilities are endless and as always the presets are top notch!! very highly recommended.

Rob, you are the Jacques Cousteau of the synthesis world. Blue is a joy to use. No matter what mixing you dealing with this Beauty and Beast blends in and transforms everything. I am not using anything else anymore beside Albino RMIV and Pianoteq. There is no way back! Thak you.

how do i add a demo song for blue? i am part of the detroit techno scene in detroit from 1988 thu 2008. i have recorded as model 500(with juan atkins), real by reel, marty bonds ect... i did purchase blue in summer 07

Now that nearly all bugs are removed and added new powerful possibilities, hammer-unison etc, improved sound, small loading CPU - this synthesizer number one in the world of the sound design! Very easy create the unconceived sounds! The nature of the sound - Virus - a people speak! The crock of the sound design! The Glory John Ayres, Rob Papen and other participants of the HUGE BLUE project! Thanks!
