Klaus Badelt

Klaus Badelt
Werner Herzog, Richard Donner, John Madden, Chen Kaige, Wolfgang Petersen, Francis Lawrence, Walter Parkes, Roger Donaldson, Michael Mann, Jerry Bruckheimer, Sean Penn and Ridley Scott, all have three things in common: they all make great films, all work with only the finest talent, and all have looked to Klaus Badelt to write their scores.

Born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany, it was there that Klaus' love for music began.
Affectionately known as the "Wunderkind," Klaus quickly became a triple-threat, receiving the highest accolades in the record, television, and motion picture industries.
Klaus moved to Los Angeles in 1998, specifically to collaborate with the best and the brightest in Hollywood.
Since this move, Klaus has worked with some of the greatest filmmakers of our time, received many International awards and honors of distinction,
scored more than 40 major motion pictures, and set the tone for both critically acclaimed films and top-grossing franchises and blockbusters.

Klaus' distinctive approach is focused on intimate collaboration. Inviting and encouraging regular dialogue and faithful interaction throughout the entire scoring process, Klaus is able to best understand, enhance, and perfect the overall vision, regardless of category, description, or style.
Recipient of the “Discovery of the Year Award” in 2003, at the World Soundtrack Awards, Klaus thrives in the creative environment where he clearly demonstrates his
passion for creating innovative and groundbreaking original content. Without the limitation of a single musical genre, Klaus is able to capture and express the distinctive core of every project - whether subtle and intimate, or large-scale and mainstream. And, never one to be type-cast, Klaus has garnered International attention and world-wide prominence in multiple media as a composer, arranger, performer, and producer of monumental live events and stage shows, one-of-a-kind theatrical events, pop-music recordings, and the 2008 Beijing Olympics Closing Ceremonies.
