If you own BLUE you can upgrade for free to BLUE 1.8
What is new is that we added 'e-license' Syncrosoft copy protection.
This means that you'll need internet connection during installation. In case you own a 'Syncrosoft' dongle, it is also possible to transfer the BLUE 1.8 license to this dongle.
What do you need for upgrading to BLUE 1.8
1. Your BLUE serial number
Look at page 2 of the userguide/manual in case you own a BOXed version
Look inside your 'ShareIt' registration email for your BLUE serial in case you did purchase the online version.
2. Create an account
To create an account look for the login box which can be found at the left side of the homepage.
3. Register your BLUE (version 1.0 untill 1.7)
You do this by using your serial number and then picking the correct version "box" or "online", otherwise you will get an error message.
4. Upgrade
After registration, the "upgrade" option is available in the product list.
Click on 'upgrade' and your new 'activation code' will be send to your mail box.
5. Register your BLUE 1.8
After requesting an "upgrade" to BLUE 1.8 you need to add BLUE 1.8 again to your "Your Product list".
Use for this the update "activation code" mentioned inside your "upgrade email" and select the correct version.
Then BLUE 1.8 does show up in "Your Product list" and are you able to request a 2nd activation for your other computer or laptop, if you need one.
NOTE: the upgrade is online, so won't be sent a new box for box owners!
TIP:
Please use "Copy" and "Paste" to enter the activation code in the product list,
making sure there are no spaces before the first character of the activation code or after the last.
