Rob Papen Plugins use the Syncrosoft Soft-Elicensing protection system. This ensures that the plugins only work if a correct authorization code is used. In order to use the Syncrosoft Soft-Elicenser protection system , the plugin will install the Syncrosoft License Control Center (LCC). The Soft-Elicense system is a software system , and you don't need a USB dongle for it to work, but you do need to be connected to the internet during authorization.

The Soft-Elicense system also has the option of transferring a license onto a Syncrosoft USB dongle.
This is useful because you can authorize a license on one machine and then move this license to this Syncrosoft USB dongle. You can then use this USB dongle to use the plugin on several different machines (but only one at a time). If you want to purchase a Syncrosoft dongle , you can purchase them here

Authorizing a plugin:

1. Firstly launch the Syncrosoft License Control Center (LCC).
2. Go to Wizard, then License Download, then click 'Next'.
3. Enter the 32-digit Activation Code when prompted. If the activation code is valid , the license to be download will be shown and to continue you should press the 'Next' button.
4. The LCC is now ready to download a license which will allow you to use the plugin. Click on 'Start' , starts the download process . After the license has been downloaded a popup window will confirm if the download has been successful, clicking 'OK' closes this window. Clicking 'Finish' finishes the authorization process.
5. The downloaded license will now be shown in the main LCC window. The plugin will now be ready to use.

License Transfer to Syncrosoft USG dongle

1. Firstly make sure you have a Syncrosoft USB dongle.
2. Launch the Syncrosoft License Control Center (LCC).
3. Go to Wizard , then License Tranfer , then click 'Next'.
4. Select the "Soft-eLicense" you want to transfer , then click 'Next'.
5. If you have more than one USB dongles attached , you will then be asked to select the USB dongle to transfer to. After selecting the correct one , then click 'Next'.
6. The LCC is now ready to transfer a license, to do this you must be attached to the internet. Clicking 'Start' , starts the process. After it is finished a popup window will confirm if the transfer has been successful , clicking 'OK' closes this window. Clicking 'Finish' finishes the authorization process.
7. The transfered license will now shown , on your USB dongle,

Authorization on a non-internet connected computer via a Syncrosoft USB dongle and an internet connected computer.

1. On your internet connected computer , attach your Syncrosoft USB Dongle and then install & authorize the plugin.
2. While you still in the Syncrosoft License Control Centere (LCC) , transfer this license to you USB dongle via "License Transfer" in the Wizard menu.
3. Now run the plugin's installer on your non-internet connected computer, but don't download a license.
4. Plug you Syncrosft USB Dongle into this computer, this will contain a license for the plugin and will enable you to use the plugin on that computer.
