Rob Papen Plugins use the Soft E-licensing protection system. This ensures that the plugins only work if a correct authorization code is used. In order to use the Soft E-licenser protection system, the plugin will install the License Control Center (LCC). The Soft E-license system is a software system, and you don't need a USB dongle for it to work, but you do need to be connected to the internet during authorization.

The Soft-Elicense system also has the option of transferring a license onto a USB E-license dongle.

Authorization on a non-internet connected computer via a USB E-license dongle and
an internet connected computer.

1. On your internet connected computer, attach your USB E-license Dongle and then install & authorize the plugin.
2. Most of the time the LCC software will see your attached Dongle and ask if the 'License' can be installed at the attached dongle. If not, transfer the license to your USB dongle via 'License Transfer' in the Wizard menu.
3. Now run the plugin's installer on your non-internet connected computer, but close the 'License Control Centre' once it pops-up.
4. Plug your USB E-license Dongle into this computer, this will contain a license for the plugin and will enable you to use the plugin on that computer.
    

License Transfer to USB E-license dongle

1. Firstly make sure you have a USB E-license dongle. They are available here.
2. Launch the License Control Center (LCC).
   You can download it here in case you haven't installed it.
3. Go to Wizard', then License Tranfer, then click 'Next'.
4. Select the 'Soft-eLicense' you want to transfer, then do click 'Next'.
5. If you have more than one USB dongles attached, you will then be asked to select the USB dongle to transfer to. After selecting the correct one, then click 'Next'.
6. The LCC is now ready to transfer a license, to do this you must be attached to the internet. Clicking 'Start', starts the process. After it is finished a popup window will confirm if the transfer has been successful, clicking 'OK' closes this window. Clicking 'Finish' finishes the authorization process.
7. The transfered license will now shown, on your USB E-license dongle.
    

Authorizing a plugin, without running the installer

1. Firstly launch the License Control Center (LCC).
   You can download it here in case you haven't installed it.
2. Go to 'Wizard', then 'License Download' and then click 'Next'.
3. Enter the 32-digit Activation Code when prompted. If the activation code is valid, the license to be download will be shown and to continue you should press the 'Next' button.
4. The LCC is now ready to download a license which will allow you to use the plugin. Click on 'Start', starts the download process. After the license has been downloaded a popup window will confirm if the download has been successful, clicking 'OK' closes this window. Clicking 'Finish' finishes the authorization process.
5. The downloaded license will now be shown in the main LCC window. The plugin will now be ready to use.
6. NOTE: if you run the installer the LCC software will be installed automaticly.
