Problems with PC Protools
- Open up the eLicenser Control Center and make sure there is a valid license for the plugin, and that
that the eLicenser itself is working. If there is a problem, please let us know.
- Make sure that our plugin is correctly installed, it will be installed in the folder
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins\
or
C:\Program Files (x64)\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins\ on 64 bit systems
If it is not there then run the updater for that plugin, so the software is reinstalled.
- Delete Protools's blacklist, so that all plugins are rescanned.
1. Close down Protools
2. Delete the dae cache file, this can be found at
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\DAE Prefs
or
C:\Program Files (x64)\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\DAE Prefs, on 64 bit systems
3. Empty the recycle bin, and then restart your computer.
4. Open up Protools again, it will then rescan all the plugins.
